Trick 2 Declarer played J, LHO,Dummy played small, RHO won with Q
Trick 3 RHO played small, LHO's 9 was allowed to win
Trick 4 LHO returned Dummy won RHO followed
Trick 5 from dummy RHO followed, Declarers K fell to A
Trick 6 10 from RHO Dummy won RHO followed
Trick 7 10 from dummy, RHO discaded 7
Trick 8 small from Dummy, RHO discarded 2, indicates honor
Trick 9 A, LHO discarded small
Trick 10 , small from LHO, Q from dummy, RHO wins K
Trick 11-12 RHO cashes 2
DOWN 2
Deal was played on 7 other tables. All others (those whom I asked) made 2 OTs.
After the same lead they finessed 10 lost to K won return and finessed RHO's Q

I can't see how crossing to dummy in Hearts and then leading low Spade to the Jack can be any worse then the adopted play. I don't think I would test the Diamonds until after I have tested the Spades, though.

I don´t see any advantage in his line. Why not cross in Heart and play a spade up or try the double finesse in diamond instead?

Maybe he simply had a blind spot. This happens to experts. Just less often then it happens to us.
Kind Regards
