What does the number at the top left of the BBO user profile designate, and what must happen to get that designation?

They refer to the number of "bbo masterpoints" a player has won. You can only win BBO masterpoints in "pay tournaments" (those with dollar signs, but not played against robots...ie not "money bridge" tournaments).

The symbols stand for...
A=the single person who has won the most mps
K=people who are number 2 to number 9 on the list of most points
Q=the rest of the top 50
J=the rest of the top 100
10=over 1000 masterpoints
9=over 500 masterpoints
8=over 300 masterpoints
7=over 200 masterpoints
6=over 100 masterpoints
5=over 50 masterpoints
4=over 20 masterpoints
3=over 5 masterpoints
2=over 1 masterpoint
