The 1NT opening was ridiculous so there'll be no full hand analysis. Assume it's normal, when would you take part into the dance?
When would you intercept?

On full moon days, you might open a weak 2D and then bid 3C. But on normal days, partner bids 4S and really hates it when you mess around like this.

Lets bring PD into the game here, and I prefer to do it now, with 2NT, rather than wait for later with 4NT.

- If I have to pass this first, I'll bid 4NT in my 2nd turn, not 2NT (what's the point of 2NT anyway?)
- 3 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too late!

I don't mind bidding 4NT first, rather than 2NT. How often are the opps not going to be cold for 4M anyhow ? And how often is 5mX a bad score ?
Anyhow...in no way do I like the slow approach to 4N. You're right, if not a direct 4NT with this hand, then when ?

You do have recogniced, that your side is red,
and they are green?
Forcing to the 5 level is a good start to hand
them a nice plus score, which they are able to
collect without great pain.
With kind regards

I'd still find little fault in a direct 4NT overcall, at these colors, but wouldn't bid it once the opps have started to exchange info with 2C.
How does one respond to a 4NT pinpoint blackwood opening ?

5♣ = none
5♦/♥/♠ = that ace or the other 3
5NT = ♣A or the other 3
6♣ = 2 aces, same color
6♦ = 2 aces, same rank
6♥ = 2 aces, non-touching
6♠ = 4 aces
You should be able to know what partner has...

So 4NT should be both minors, preemptive.
An alternative meaning by Sabine Auken is "minor suit Namyats", i.e. a good 5m preempt. This doesn't seem to come up that often.
