You need north to have five diamonds.. and south to have the club ACE. That starts the hand, but you need two discards from WEST on ♣'s so north also needs J9x of clubs or similar.
Win diamond ace and run club ten if not covered.

Yes, ♣ at trick 2 is quite obligated imo, since opps don't know enough to plan the best possible defense. Running the T will probably be more efficient than taking over, but I'm not sure. Against weak players you're always going down, against good ones you might get away with this slam
