4.
Well, I don't see here any problem. I have maximum for 3 bid, two hearts aren't great BUT it is a fit. After partner starts cuebidding, I have to cuebid as well (it is strange that he is cuebidding, but 4 cost nothing).
1 - 1NT
2 - 3
3 - 4
4 - 4
(if no 4 bid an easy 4 - unless you cuebid only aces)

I would be avaiting hand with diamond singleton or void. Partner has to have a superb hand and after 2 (11-14), it could be only with some void (or singleton). And from my hand it is obviosly (why the opps are not bidding? on 9-10 or 10-11)

Partner cannot be cue-bidding here. 3 is descriptive offering choice of games, 3NT and 4 being the most obvious. I think 4 should be natural say something like xx Qx xxx AKJxxx.

On the actual hand I would bid 4H expecting somehing like a 4621 or 3622 etc opposite. I can't offer 4 as a game so if that's the right spot, tough.

3NT, not serious, dunno why partner is cuebidding anyway... This is probably the way for me to show (after partner cues 4) that I don't have a control I guess.

I cannot think of a hand limited to 14 or 15 which can suddently make a slam try, so I'll take that as natural, attempting to play 3NT. In that case I decline and bid 4.

Hi,

I assume 2H showed a 6 card suit
and could be passed, and that 3H
showed a limit raise with 3 card
support?

If you have agreed to play. that the first
cue shows an honor (the Ace of spade),
I will bid 4C as a mild cooperation, if it
could be a single, I would bid 4H.

With kind regards
Marlowe

Both 100% 3 or even 4 rebids over 1NT. Would you have wanted to miss game if responder had this hand with one less honor?

3 is looking for the best game between 4 and 3NT. I bid 4.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Partner held AJ10x KQJxx Kx xx.

4S is best, but it does seem reasonable that 3S is only suggesting 3N, not 4S. Any opinions on how we could keep 4S in the picture? What would 4m mean by us now, given that we're not headed towards slam?

I admit I would have played in 2H, well done to those that get to game.

1H=1NT
2C=2H

???

Given opners hand, I do not understand 3H,
I think 2NT showing the bal. hand with 10-12
is the normal bid.

After you have discovered a "fit" with 3H, there
is no way, playing natural methods, that you
can introduce spades.
Why should opener even bother?
He knows, that there will be at most a 7 card
fit.

4m is a cue bid, similar to 3S.

With kind regards
Marlowe

PS: If you want to keep both mayors in the picture
start with 2D Flannery, if you play it.
