2♥! - pass - 2♠! - 3♠
2♥ = 6+♥ or 5♥+4 any, preemptive
2♠ = searching for the second suit, usualy (3)4+♠
What is 3♠?

3♠ is natural. Double of 2♠ should also show spades, but with a hand that's not good enough to bid at the 3-level. As a general rule (with a couple of exceptions) I play double of an artificial bid as showing a suit.

Is this hand OK for 3♠ bid?
Not for me. I need a better and/or longer spade suit. I would double.

For me 3 Spade had been at least 5 realy good spades with no better bid avaiable, but mostly at least 6 or more. Double had shown this hand.
