Really caring about, and acting on, the concerns of the members. When you consider how much we pay for this service it is almost a labour of love and greatly appreciated.

Is the word "pass" not in your vocabulary?

DITTO... fred won bridge man of the year last year (i think it was), but for my money he should have won it the last 4... you can throw in uday and sheri also (i know they all have help, but ingraving costs
)
as for pure technical innovations, i'd vote for FD... i know he's still tweaking it, but the concept is great, now all we need is a way to convince everyone of this

I too think that this was the acme of their responding to user "needs" (and not necessarily "wants"). Would that I could get mine done.....I almost got help but it was shot down before it got off the ground. (At least I have my "old style" one still available for those that know where to find it)

I really like that you don't get the feeling of dealing with a company but rather with some friends or fellow bridge players who want to do you and the game a good service. This is especially true if you also take part in the forums. Neither Fred nor Uday shy away from giving advice and openly voicing their opinion on all sorts of issues. They really keep in touch really well with the community.
I also like that a continous effort to enhance BBO is being made. While I'm not completely happy with some things concerning the client, Fred is completely right when he says "well, at least we keep things going and continue to deliver".
Adding to that, it is completely free and I believe them when they say that it will stay that way.
