:P What's the general consensus of opinion on allowing undo's. I was always under the impression that allowing an undo during the bidding was acceptable as an incorrect bid could mislead both one's partner and the opps. But allowing undo's because of incorrect card played should be just "tough" very annoying for the player but sometimes one just has to bite the bullet! If Undo's are to be allowed in the tournaments, I would like to see the rules clarified to everyone that only undo's during bidding be allowed.... what do you all think?

Personally, I will ask for undo's only when the misclick is adjacent to the bid or card that I would have chosen. This, to my mind. leaves no doubt as to my intentions or the naure of my request.

I usually allow undo's unless it is clear that so much info has been transmitted that it "seems" likely that the requester has changed their mind and wants to try a "better" option. This is highly subjective and prone to error but since it is never a life or death situation, I can use my judgement freely.

You can find numerous threads about allowing undo's. No real point in making a new one... :P

If dummy has KJx and RHO has AQ, and plays the Q under the K, I think it's more likely that he was anticipating you finessing the J and played too quickly, rather than misclicking, even though the cards are adjacent. At least, that's been the case every time I played the Q like that.

Including one that's been going on for the past week or so in the Tournament Director's Forum.
