When I set up my forum account I chose to be anonymous when accessing the forums. How do I change that now? I could not find the setting in any of my profile or board settings. Also searching help for anonymous had no info.

I think you mean, you tried to be "invisible" to others.
To change this, log out. Then login again. Select the appropriate option (invis or not)

It is possible that if you set it so that it automatically logs you in as invisible when you open the web page, then you may need to delete the resulting cookie, then re-access the web page, and it should present you with the normal log-in options.

Jack, thanks. There is indeed a cookie called anonlogin. Or rather, there was a cookie. I deleted it and didn't even have to log in again.
