A well-made and quality show by Engelbert Humperdinck. I was pleased to hear our Italian song by the very well-known Tony Renis who at the beginning of his career presented Quando, quando, quando (Tell me when) in a not recent Sanremo Festival which had many covers and reinterpretations by various artists and an international hit. Enjoy.

Ok…Clams Casino and Hard Drive.
I say her last two albums but for each of these she released follow up albums with related titles, that contain other versions of the songs and a few different tracks. They’re ok in their own right but one can hear why she chose the songs that made the two ‘main’ albums.

Thx Mike. Always looking for new people to listen to
I hesitate to post my most recent finds. Not sure how accessible they are to present company. Should I?
But I am serious. I am looking up Cassandra Jenkins on Spotify right now. (EDIT sounds very pleasant already) And I am serious. I am not a sarcastic person. I really enjoy music recommendations from people I respect
Should I post my favorite bands or albums of 2025 or not? Let me pnnder that
I could post my top 10 votes for the Hottest 100 but not many made the 100
To be fair I will post one of myfavorite artists of the year. Milly Strange. Such an awesome year for music I feel rather useless. But Milly is kind of safe (good) folk rock grunge. Some would say clear references to grunge of the past but good all the same. Just what every cool new artist wants to hear that I like them. But at least her eponymous album is on repeat on my Spotify. When I feel my streams are becoming noticable I feel cool
Some of the others I will keep to myself
But my mood RN is Milly Strange

A band of 3 young Mexican sisters wanted to send one of their home performances (a cover of Metallica's enter sandman) to their grandparents, but it was too big to fit in an email, so they posted it on YouTube, it went viral and that vid now has 26 million views. At the time, their school music teacher challenged them to write some music and this was one of the results.

Extraordinary for the 11 year old that wrote and performed this version (and she's the drummer when not at the keyboard).
What they do now is stuff like

When they were 14/11/9 they recorded a cover of Muse - Hysteria, Muse saw it and were impressed enough 3 years later to ask them to open their gigs when Muse toured Mexico, then were impressed enough to have them open for them in the UK. The drummer and bassist are technically superb, and the drummer sings on a treadmill to prepare for singing occasional lead vocals while drumming which she's done since very young.

Thx cool gig. I hardly know that album (well the majority of it)
Nice attention for the backing singers
Back in my day they built walls across stages lol
I find it hard to find mood music these days - relying on AI somewhat but it can't totally plug into my attempt to describe my mood
I think more than anything I am feeling nostalgic and preparing for all the 50th Anniversary of Punk in UK parties
And nostalgia for 1976 is very sad - 1977 seemed better somehow

Relying on AI may not be a good idea, requiring caution to avoid dependence. Having pets or even animals to care with helps a lot, as does music, if it's of a certain type and quality (I have a YouTube channel featuring various artists).
