Worst TV Shows

Having said that, it was in the late of 2001 when I was watching a lot of FoxTel, and of course the coverage was even more emotional in those times.
I agree with those who want to keep politics out of this forum. Maybe I should not have mentioned FoxNews to begin with. BTW I generally despise TV news formats who care to address the audience's emotions and employ sensationalism. There are many other examples of this and certainly quite a few instances on the German TV networks as well.

Just about everything they say.
Do not underestimate the power of the dark side. Or the ninth trumph.

Lost
Prison Break
Cold Case
I really hate those 3. Specially lost and all the foolishness that people has created around it.

For a show that has overstayed its welcome, I nominate Saving Grace. I really liked the concept. Grace (Holly Hunter), a hard drinking promiscuous cop with no use for religion runs a guy down, gets out of the car, realizes what she has done and says something like "Lord help me". An angel, Earl, appears and says, "What did you have in mind?". The prospect of saving someone's soul appeals to me, and Grace's soul is definitely a challenge, but after a fine start it has really been dragging.
The show that gets my nod as a surprise plus (I know, it's off topic) is The Good Wife. The plot, disgraced husband resigns government post, wife copes, sounds stupid but the writing and acting are, imo, first rate.
I have never watched mtv or Fox News. I am not the self-punishing type.
Oh, and then there is Hung on BBO. I saw a bit of it the other night. It's jut oh so shocking. Women say things like pussy right on tv. Such progress. You've come a long way baby.

South Africa acquired this dreck on the cheap and in 97, I watched an episode dubbed into Zulu. That was an improvement.
