And I've got a little TIP for you, get the POINT? Where's the twelfth trick hiding? ;)

What the title has to do with this deal will probably be missed by evereyone (possibly including myself). However, the hand took place on BBO.

Scoring: IMP

W N E S
1* 1NT 2 5
p 6 p 6
* supposedly 10-15, 5+

A diamond was not led. Instead, the four of clubs (3rd/5th) lead produced the ten from East. You take the trick and try to count to twelve. Is there a way to do that?

(The contract failed by one trick at the table, and of course both I (who was on lead) and the declarer would tell our team mates - if we had got those - that the defence took their tricks. As for the title, it is a counter insult from a PC game The Secret of Monkey Island.)
I just discovered a truly remarkable bidding system!
Sadly, this margin was too small to contain it.

I believe East has only K, and all the other points belong to W because of opening bid and lead.
In that case, I think by playing all trumps and all clubs (I suppose J will fall), West can be thrown-in with the A and forced to play . If he would have dropped a heart or a diamond, a trick in this suit can be developed.

Squeeze without the count, like my f2f p says:

On the last , West is squeezed for an endplay or creating our tricks.

This was the full deal (was rotated)
Scoring: IMP

East South West North
1 1NT 2 5
pas 6 pass 6
Lead: 4

The ending would be as free told. Guess that's the winkle squeeze.
