jilly, i get 'error' when i try to connect.. it says that either the server is offline or teamspeak isn't running on that server... does that mean we have to be on bbo to run it?

Hi,
The the server runs on my pc so unless I am online and have it running you won't be able to connect. Teamspeak is completely independent of BBO.

I need some help to test this teamspeak connection. A few forum members have connected ok but I am having intermittent problems where the server is not visible to anyone. Restarting the server/PC fixes the problem some of the time. :)

Please load teamspeak client and try connecting.

I tried it and it did not work. I tried closing teamspeak and reopening it. It works! I like to think the workings of a computer are not beyond my grasp but this seems weird. In my teenage years I had a 47 Plymouth. When it got sick I found that disassembling the carburetor (I have been told that this means lying to it) and reassembling it (which I suppose means confessing the lie) often did wonders. I never understood that either.

I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

you better watch it with talking about such thing like a '47 Plymouth. Someone might think you are old enough to remember such cars. Lol. I remember the maroon '49 Plymouth that my parents had, soon to give way to a blue '51 Plymouth. What was it about Plymouths in the 40/50s? Our next car was a '56 green Plymouth station wagon. I guess this means that I'm old.

How did the Live With Phil session work out? Is it available as a recording?

I had trouble getting on to BBO just before the starting time, and later I was deluged by children and grandchildren. I hope it all went well as it seems like a fine idea. Also a brave idea for Phil.

As to the '47 Plymouth,I bought it in 1954 and it had two features: It ran, and it cost $175. A friend had a '40 Ford on similar logic: It ran, and it cost $50. Ah,nostalgia. They were fun cars.
