Hi all,
I was wondering, in Superlambda at

Opening 1N is 12-14 bal, but Pass (13+) can branch into 13-17 balanced.

With 12-13 balanced, do you open 1N or Pass?

I do not know Superlambda system, but:

There is exception
1NT is 12-14 ballanced
Pass is 13+ except ballanced hands 12-14

I think, that Pass - 1c -1d a) it should be 15-17 ballanced, not 13-17 (but I am not sure)

So I think with 12-13 ballanced hand You should open 1NT

I emailed Longin Bartnik, and he said you can open it either way, as you see fit.
