You hold: KTx, xx, Kxxxxx, Jx
RHO opens 1D, you pass, LHO bids 1S, partner passes, RHO bid 2S, pass, pass, X, pass.
What hand do you expect from partner and what is your action now?

quick X=you're screwed. quick pass of X= haha theyre screwed. slow X=they may be screwed. quick pass of slow X= we got this pard, theyre screwed. Slow pass of slow X= oh man, they might not be screwed but I have nothing to bid.
Slow X then slow pass is clearly optimal.

To pass when pard wasn't strong enough to double 1♠ is probably a quick and enjoyable way to get in an arguing at the end of the board.
All this leaves you with one bid: 3♦.

in theory partners dbl is for penalty,
we know he does not have a penalty
dbl, they have at least 7 cards, I three
with the King, ... according to an old
famous german mathematician: partner
has at most 3.
Now I pass, hopying for a miracle.
With kind regards

Hi,
if partners starts arguing, I will shoot him, which
finishes the discussion process.

Pard has a hand where he knows you have something....he has something.....he hates to sell.......he wonders what to do.......so you bid 3D opposite his stiff ♦ ace (or small doubleton) and hope they bid on or that the result is -100 only
