It was just pointed out to me a wonderful article in the new Vogue October 2005 page 306.

It is an important health article concerning the wife of my old LA bridge partner. I hope you all get a chance to read it. thanks. Hopefully this is an article all bridge players can relate to. I certainly can in my own family.

How did I guess Justin would read Vogue between bridge/poker magazines. What a wonderful well rounded fellow . No wonder the chicks dig him. He can explain the latest fashion lines as well as best bridge lines.

BTW just heard from Ken. Hopefully he and his wife can work some more bridge stuff into their movies.

Here is one idea but I bet you all can come with better ones:

Samuel L. Jackson is a cop on the hunt for 2 star crossed Canadians living in Las Vegas who concoct an evil plan involving BBO/Bridge/internet site.

They make the site free to attract sweet innocent people ( just like you) from around the world and get them addicted with murderous subliminal messages that only depraved cruel computer geeks would invent (see Flannery).

Their plan is to win the world championships (world domination) by rendering the competition irrelevent. Farfetched some may say, but anyone who has been to Toronto or Vancouver to play bridge knows the the fiendish Genius (see relay stayman) of Canadians.

Perhaps you could just say a few words what this article is about? I don't think that I make a trip from Germany to the US to buy a Vogue, but I am soooo curious

Is that really necessary? Vogue is obtainable in a tiny country like Denmark (not that I ever buy it of course), so I would be surprised if you were not able to buy it in Germany too.

As a suggestion I'm sure you can just go into a shop and scan through it without buying it. In Netherlands this is a well known strategy called "look but don't buy".

Outside of Amsterdam it is mostly used for people who like to shop for ages and keeping shop employees busy for hours wiithout actually buying something.

I didn't know that about the red light district, but then I have never been there and try to avoid Amsterdam as much as possible anyway (so sad that most tourist run to Amsterdam where actually coming from the airport they should take the train in the other direction )

Wow Gerben... spoken to someone who cannot live oustide Amsterdam...
I agree that the red light district ia a turism attraction and should be avoided like the fake wooden shoes, the Deft China windmilles etc.
But otherwise is Amsterdam a great city.

To return to the topic, you CAN buy the Vogue
can anyone say why I should?
