Hand
Contract is 6SX by south easy +1
Was on Practice tournament for ACBL tourney.
This isn't my hand but was repeated multiple times.
My Gib didn't double on slightly different auction.
But what is West Gib thinking, there is almost no chance of even one trick in it's hand never mind two. Gib doesn't even have a good hand.

Well, with basic GIB, the entire auction is replicated except for the final double. So it's not just a rules error - somehow the hands GIB simulated had double winning? That can't be right.

In my auction I redoubled 5 KC response which shows A and thus 3KC but surely i have 3KC anyways. But nobody who redoubled 5 got doubled. Maybe if you don't redouble simulation is assuming 0 KC or at least the possibility.
But even with AK i wouldn't double, very likely someone will have singleton club then.

It's a stripe tailed ape double, keeping you out of the cold grand slam.

If a computer could count to13 it wouldn't have. Give the human Gib's hand I bet everyone is in 7.

I've seen GIB double optimistically with short or void trumps many times. After all, if he has none then partner must have lots.
