When I play in your tournaments and earn master points, are they ever sent to ACBL? I submitted my ACBL number. I guess what I want to know is do I really earn master points? Also, so some reason I have a different user ID name on my PC the tis different from my user ID on my iPad. How do I change that?

YES.

I submitted my ACBL number. I guess what I want to know is do I really earn master points?

YES. THIS ASSUMES THAT YOU PLAY IN AN ACBL ONLINE TOURNAMENT. BBO MASTERPOINTS ARE AWARDED IN MANY BBO TOURNAMENTS. BBO MASTERPOINTS ARE NOT ACBL MASTERPOINTS. YOU HAVE TO EARN ACBL MASTERPOINTS TO GET THEM ADDED TO YOUR ACBL MASTERPOINT TOTAL.

Also, so some reason I have a different user ID name on my PC the tis different from my user ID on my iPad. How do I change that?

THAT I CANNOT ANSWER.

you have two userids. When you sign in with ipad and it asks for useid type in your other userid and password.

note it is possible u didn't give acbl number to both userids

We send masterpoints to ACBL on the 1st of every month. I just checked our records, and we sent your March masterpoints to ACBL on April 1, and they accepted them, so you should see them at the ACBL website now, and you'll see them in the masterpoint report on your Bulletin next month. The Bulletin will always be a month behind because it goes to print before they can include that month's masterpoint report.

The BBO apps on the PC and iPad remember the last username you logged in with. If you want to change one of them, just enter a different name on the login screen, and it will use that one as the default from then on.

Can BBO eliminate one of the names, and merge the BBO masterpoint holdings of the two, if OP doesn't want two names and requests this?

We can't eliminate a name, but we can transfer points. We can also link accounts, so that all the points earned with one account will be attributed to the other.

In this case, only one of the accounts has any points. Both accounts have the same ACBL# registered, so any ACBL points she earns on either account will be reported to ACBL.

Is transferring points a new capability? So we aren't "stuck" with one username now?

It's been around for a long time. It's not something you can do yourself from the application, but Customer Support can do it for you.

For sections/strats with at least 15 pairs, the top section award is 0.90 MP. The awards are reduced using the standard ACBL formula when the section or strat size is smaller. There are also overall awards, which top out at 1.50 MP.

The awards for the remaining places drop off using the same formula ACBL uses for f2f pair games.

You get the higher of your overall or section award.

This is essentially the same as f2f clubs, except the top awards are reduced because our games are only 12 boards, not 24-26 boards like f2f clubs.

How do you make a penalty double? All doubles seem to come up as a takeout.

Huh, what does this have to do with masterpoints?

A double is a double. Whether it's penalty or takeout depends on the system and the auction so far. If you're talking about robot bidding, there are complex rules in its bidding database, and it's hard to get them all right.

Friends of mine have a number next to the name in the bar identifying the player on BBO. A friend of mine told me that that number relates to the master points that he has at ACBL. I have essentially the same number of Masterpoints as does he, but I have no number next to my username. I would like to have such a number but have no info on low such numbers are awarded. Help?

The number BBO shows is related to points won in BBO, which could be ACBL or not.

But would never be related with ACBL MPs won offline.
