4♦ is a splinter showing 4+♥ and 13-16 total points.
The Bot in east used blackwood and after getting one ace bid 6♥. Perhaps a bit optimistic, but not unreasonable.
I will get back to the play, so lets just look what happened at another table - this board was played 15 times, and 4 of the south players bid 2♦.
Over 2♦ West still did bid 4♦, this time being a splinter with 4+♥ and 13+ total points. The only difference is that West now is unlimited,
Now the East bot just bid 4♥ and was left there to play. Interesting that opposite a limited hand the Bot goes for slam
Now back to the play
How would you play it on a ♠-lead?
Against 6♥ south lead a trump 7 times, and a ♠ 4 times
After a ♠-lead the bot found a way to go down, that looks interesting
Looking at the 2 hands a plan could be to throw 2♣ on the ♠, and the go for crossruff
The other plan is to draw trump and finesse in ♣.
After a trump-lead the bot went for the second option and made, but after a ♠-lead somethiing strange happened
At trick 3 the Bot cashed ♣A probably following the crossruff-line, but then at trick 6 it started drawing trump, really with no chance of winning the contract.
Playing ♠Q at trick 6 going down would have been understandable - and looking double dummy - the only way to go only 1 down on the actual layout
