I had a fun and busy summer so I do not log onto BBO much this summer, not that it matters. Anyway I log in now and when I play games I see advertisements to the left of my game screen.

Seriously? Turn it off please. Do not turn this site into yet another cheap distracting site that is simply not worthy of logging in.

If BBO is desperate for revenue then invent some sort of 'gambling bridge' where people play for money, no different than poker, and the house (BBO) takes its cut. Seriously, playing bridge for money would beat poker any day. I'm surprised casinos don't already have it, or maybe they don; I don't go to casinos.

And, or, maybe some sort of paid accounts that offer premium features, etc.

But yeah, seriously, turn off the advertisements.

Those solutions are already in place. If you subscribe to BBO prime, you won't see ads.

Or any other paid activity will hide them for a week, so just pay 29 cents or whatever it is for the cheapest robot tourney and you're set for the week. A small price to pay for the otherwise free service.

Yeah. What Stephen said. BBO is a business, not a charity.

I appreciate being able to play for free when ever I want. If it takes a little advertising on the side? So be it!!
I LOVE BBO !!!!!!!

BBO doesn't use all that many ad services.

Identify the domain names, statically configure your DNS, and serve a blank page.

BBO has been ad-supported for many years. I'm not sure why you think this is new.

What advertising is this?
All my concentration is on the bidding and the play so I I rarely see any adverts.
Judging by the very small number of complaints (out of 1,000s of players) I am not alone - just one of a large majority.

BBO has to pay it's way and I am very happy to play for free :) .

What adverts? I have never seen any. If you don't want adverts, get an advert blocker. If BBO refuses to operate with advert blockers in use, I will take my custom elsewhere.
