Hi
In this period of the pandemic it should exist many places where one can learn bridge. I did not found many.
I wish to have a set up of a teacher that goes through the general strategies of bidding and hand play in a lesson.
After that the students can practice some boards and the teacher tell what they do right or wrong.
Later on one can learn different systems that are not basic.
Where can I find a bridge school similar to this please?

Back in the heyday of Amercian bridge, when almost everyone played, the game was taught simply and elegantly by a man named Charles Goren. Myself, I learned to play when my next door neighbor - a retired school teacher - invited me and a couple other friends over to play "bridge". I had always seen the diagrams in the paper and was curious as to what this game was all about.
That first session was perfect for raw newbies like me: there was no decorum and instruction occurred during the hands and the playing the hands was all it was about.
I cannot emphasize enough that bridge first must be fun - it should not be like a getting a master's degree or studying for a test.
I agree that there should be a simple, simple, simple way to introduce the game.
