did 2S promise 6? This is what I have seen lately. Never used to be.

Still my sympathies. I ran into similar 1s-2d(passed hand). there was no rational continuation.

Maybe not the best contract, but kudos to GIB North for recognizing and bidding the longest suit. I blame South for having insufficient support. B-)

also, GUBBO allows opening 2S with such a hand in 4th position. just fyi.
