Sitting North I blame partner for not bidding 3NT.

I personally prefer 2 as North instead of raising to 3. Then you might arrive in 3NT easier, though I also agree that partner could have bid 3NT himself after your raise, and even a 3 bid is possible too by South.

3d meh u have 6 good spades and 3 crap diamonds, but i guess support with support! 5D is a lazy bid though

This time it's fair to criticize your partner's jump to 5 .

Holding a minor fit, 3 NT, if biddable, should be a priority.

However, I think rebidding 2 is better with this absolutely minimum hand. Ir would lead to something like this

….

2 - 2 NT

3 - 3

3 NT

where 3 asks for a part stopper.

I wouldn't quibble too much about an initial 2S bid. Poor shape and a quack-2 isn't much of a hand.

That said, given the restraints of this auction, I would have bid 2S before even thinking about raising diamonds.

I would rebid 2S as North and just blast 3N as South over that.

Yes as Helene said: I was sitting in the opposite seat on this hand too. I just wanted to check that the forum would not have raised to 3 with rubbish 3 card support and instead rebid 2 with a good 6 card suit.

Am also a 2 rebidder and wouldn't not have blasted 5 on the actual sequence.
