I don't know what game GIB is playing anymore.

Just play bridge robot. Human South.

Maybe the deuce of spades and the seven of hearts are two small for GIB to consider them part of their respective suits.

Switch the K of diamonds and the Q of clubs in the South hand and the auction is the same but in this case, 3NT might easily go down on a diamond lead while 7 has good play.

If Gib played euchre it wouldn't pick up a bower.

Here i have sympathy for Gib, you never gave Gib a chance to pattern out. 2N instead of 3N finds heart fit. Also, do you really want to play 3N if Gib doesn't have a stopper with a marked lead.

But is true Gib has good 4-loser hand should be thinking slam.

Presumably it's the programmers of GIB for whom you have sympathy although I can't imagine why. 3NT doesn't keep GIB from "patterning out". There isn't a bridge player worth beans on this planet that would pass 3NT.

With this hand Gib should pattern out. Better players might even suggest an even better bid.
But with 5512 and minimum why should Gib not pass. 3N will often be off and 4H makes.

Hopefully someone who can actually do something about how GIB bids will see this post and rather than commenting about how 3NT isn't the right bid (or is the right bid) they will attempt to address the fact that GIB fails to rebid hearts with 6-5 in the majors and a void in an unbid suit. But maybe not.

GIB is notoriously bad with the third bid by opener in 2/1 auctions. Definitely something for BBO to work on.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
