What makes us think that our suits play better, one level higher than the one pd decided to jump to 4 level?
I think this is a clear pass at least for now, we are not doubled yet.

Pass, if you take a call now you're just raising the contract level.
There's no assurance that your suits will play better than partners. There's also no assurance that partner has anything in your suits. If partner has solid or near solid ♥, what does that say about the likelihood opener has minor suit pieces?
If you have a hand where you can clearly see that 5 of a minor has a better chance to make, then you can think about acting. If not, sit.

Pass without a 2nd thought.
Partner probably has some almost solid H suit and a few spades as well otherwise that would make too much for opponents. Some kind of 47xx (with 46 or 57 he’d probably make another call unless extremely weak S vs. H), where clearly H will play better than my minors. And a level lower. And not Xed yet.
Yes, the sight of dummy will be a disappointment to partner, but that’s not an excuse to try not to be dummy.

Even if a minor would play better than 4♥, there is no way of asking partner to choose.

FINALLY we get dealt a hand with enough intrigue to look interesting. One that allows us to shake off the dust from our thinking cap after what seems like an endless barrage of overly simple hand constructs. Lho opens a weak NT which does nothing to dampen our enthusiasm and we anxiously await our turn when p bids 4h. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr this takes almost all of the fun out of this hand. At least 4h has a chance of having won the bidding (making or not) since it looks like the opps have been robbed out of playing a probable 9+ card spade fit. So with one last wistful look at what might have been we casually reach out to the bidding box and with a small tear rolling down our cheek the

card softly lands on the table. Is it really wrong to hope against hope 4h will get axed by the weak NT opener

Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. Yes I did pass with that hand. The actual layout wasn't exactly to be expected though. Let's just say LHO had a 3♠4♥3♦3♠ hand and didn't notice until play started.
