Just play bridge robot. Human South.

The explanation given for the 3 bid is:

Raise of minor -- 4+; 5+ ; 21- HCP; 13-22 total points; forcing

It seems reasonable that this bid should be forcing in spite of the non-forcing nature of the 2 call.

It's a good point. There is a new version coming out soon and this isn't covered, but hopefully it will be later on.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

The 3D is not forcing because north was a passed hand.

However, I think that south's hand was much too good for a simple raise. After the 2D response south should make sure you reach game (at least). That being said, I would not have passed 3D with north hand, even with a void in partner's first bid suit. You are looking at an ace, 6 trump, and 2nd 5-card suit! I like 3S cue bid after south's raise to 3D. That should insure that reach at least 5D.

Will see what the experts say.

I'm interested in what the experts in GIB have to say. The point of my post was that either the explanation for the bid is incorrect in a pretty bad way, i.e., it says a bid is forcing when it isn't. Or, the bid is supposed to be forcing and there's a bug in GIB that is allowing it to pass a forcing bid.

GIB often passes "forcing" raises of a minor, even if north wasn't a passed hand - see eg http://www.bridgebas...t-bidding-hole/ which I reported mid-2016 (still occurs).
