Free day long tourney (IMPs). Sure the contract made, but surely pass with the North hand over the double can't be right?

Credit GIB West for a double that few human players would have found.

What was GIB North planning to do without a double? Why did the double change North's plan holding a singleton spade?

Doubles into stayman and transfer auctions somehow make GIB forget its original plan and either pass or do something silly. I will try to have it looked into.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
