From Geo Country vs Country daylong

I could be too aggressive inviting but was willing to take chance.

Did Gib even evaluate it's hand? Gib has 2 small spade - the proposed trump suit.
Gig also has a singleton in my second suit, which could be a short suit.

Gib only has 7 HCP and has a poor fitting hand. Obviously is counting diamond singleton fully and probably counting spade doubleton.

Put your mouse over your 3S bid and it states 6+Ss and 17-18 total points.

You were a spade short and you were also short in total points.

Blaming GIB after you overbid in both trump length and your total points is not a good idea.

I said i know i overbid. I was quite willing to play in 5-2 if necessary.
Point smoints if Gib has 3 , 2 to an honour and 3 game will be good
Beside counting distribution i have enough points. But i didn't care about points i just wanted some sort of fit.

Gib plays constructive raises so this sequence Gib can have 3 or 4 spades.

Since Gib is counting distribution points with no fit and in trump 3 seems to be forcing on any handy hand that can respond to 1
edit-I bid 3 on a hand similar to this and Gib bid 3 on a hand like this.

I'd rate raising to 3s to 4 as an overbid, and bidding 3s over 2s as a HUGE overbid (and misbid, if you are going to move again on this shape, with 5-5, and say a 17/18 count, bid 3d).

Not used to constructive raise. Having partner possibly have 3 or 4 trump is distracting.

Constructive or semi-constructive raise shouldn't matter. The idea is that if partner has real major support he is VERY WEAK, which should discourage you from going to game. So either you have 7 cd fit only, or you are way understrength, which means going for game is way against the odds.
