To be fair, North passing was actually a good idea as the cards lie :lol:. You can get 200, while 5D is trivially down (as is 3NT by N). Pity GIB couldn't follow up the good start to the defence by sticking declarer in dummy with a diamond ruff and then uppercutting when dummy leads ♥.
