I played in all 4 Daylong tourneys yesterday, but MP(A) never moved across from pending to completed when I was done or later, so I never saw any score. Today there were only 3 email alerts about results. MP(A) was now under completed but with no overall score (%) or any points. Weirdly the result for board 7 was missing. Perhaps there was a bug?! Has anyone else had any similar problems? I did message BBO HELP but they couldn't have seen it as there was no reply.

There was a problem yesterday morning on the service used for daylongs and challenges that caused lots of scores to be lost like this. We'll be issuing refunds to all the affected players.

And last night between 7pm and 11pm ET there was a problem that caused lots of timeouts in daylongs. We'll be providing refunds for those as well.

I had that bug in the Daylong tournament toss me out once again today.

It is the 2032 error, comes from the Flash driver on BBO.

Adobe has announced that they are going to abandon Flash in the near future.

Any word on a replacement, maybe HTML 5?

The new mobile app that came out last week is our HTML5 implementation.

It still needs more work before it can fully replace the web app, but that's where we're headed.

I have had some problems, too. The latest daylong was the worst ever. I got the "table closed, Error 2032" message something like 6-10 times per deal.

I guess/hope this was a temporary problem, because I just love this format!!!!!

A few related questions:

1) I relatively recently switched from the standalone BBO exe to the browser based BBO. I never saw daylong tourneys from within the windows program. Is that to be expected, or was there something wrong?

2) Are these problems due to connectivity problems at my end? When I was eventually able to resume play, I had to replay the card I had already played. That somehow suggests that a broken connection might be the problem. I switched my connection from wireless to ethernet halfway thru, but that didn't really help. Was there something wrong at the BBO end?

Daylongs are not supported on the old version of BBO, thats why you didn't see them there.

There's a problem with daylongs at the moment, which is why you kept seeing that error. Techs are looking into this and will fix as soon as possible.
