And here we go again..... Am I supposed to double? or takeout when blurb is showing 12+ points? Pleeeeeaseee don't tell me 12+ could be up to 20+ points. Is this a forcing pass? My shape is crappy.

No recourse provided by BBO for the potential loss.

With a void and after North bids 3, East is easily worth 5. You've bid your hand as West.

Actually I prefer 3 to 4, though whether that could be interpreted as a Western Cue Bid in a sequence with takeout/responsive doubles who knows? Though GIBster probably hasn't got that level of sophistication.

As for reaching 6 that's awkward, I feel.

I was not hoping for 6H. GIBator has ZERO sophistication. I am 100% sure the original bidding system was not aided by REAL bridge players. Even the RULES are highly suspect. Stupendous as a PhD thesis but bidding is abysmal. How many bugs are you going to fix when after gazillion bug fixes you still have such problems?

I think this is a forcing pass situation but what does Gib want blood?! It signed off in 4 with a 4 loser hand where you have shown values and 4.
I agree with Badger 3 way better than 4
but I think 6 will be easy to find as Gib shows 1st round controls.
Sarcasm is a state of mind

I tend to agree with forcing pass though GIBBO has violated it enough in the past. PLUS the blurb is showing 12+. As far as forcing pass my hand is pretty crappy facing 12+.
GIBidding is grossly broken.
