Matchpoints. EW play a variant of Acol, so 2H promises 10+ HCPs and 5+ hearts and 3H is NF. Lead agreements are 4ths and top of nothing. Pick your opening lead.

If it makes any difference, EW are supposedly good players - though they have just gone for 1100 after overcalling (1H) 2C on Qxx xx 98xx KJ10x...

Look forward to reading simulation results but I rank:
  • J. Honours seem to lie badly for declarer, so attempt to draw trumps.
  • 2. Aggressive, especially at Match-points.

small club
"definitely that's what I like to play when I'm playing standard - I want to be able to bid diamonds because bidding good suits is important in bridge" - Meckstroth's opinion on weak 2 diamond

supposedly good sort of contravenes the Players' Description Act (amended 2017) having gone previously for 1100 overcalling on crap!

As for the lead, I'm with eagles123: small . Tempted to lead a but I'd rather let declarer guess in trumps if a guess has to be made.

7. When they offer to play in no trumps, then correct to a suit they clearly expect to take extra tricks from trumps - so I lead one.
