Partner has a good hand, but 3C bid is not forcing.

So pass now. Close decision, but percentage I believe.

Please use the hand diagram feature (spade between two red bars on the right of the toolbar in the editor).

Partner's got a very good hand sitting over the non-preempt and you have some clubs and a heart stop. So I think 3NT is very much worthy of consideration. On the flip side if you advertise a heart stop they might lead a diamond instead and catch partner with only Axx or something, and it's MP so we don't have to be pushy. I think I'd take the high road here but it is close.

I think the problem here is there is possibly no potential entry to your hand. A lead followed by a switch, or a lead and 3NT could be down. You actually need some lebensohl-style 2NT bid after 2 here on this auction (as partner didn't overcall 2NT) to mean something like "I have a big hand but s aren't covered, but bid 3NT if you have them, and 3 if you don't"

Given the current auction I am inclined to pass 3

PASS

If all p needed was a heart stop for 3N they had a 3H bid available (after we bid 2s). Is the probable double heart stop really enough to consider 3n? At IMPS maybe but at MP it seems like too small a target.
