IMPs, advanced robots. There must be at least one bug in this auction.
Thing 1: North supposedly has 17+ points.
Thing 2: Apparently bidding 5♦ requires me to have 5+♦ even though my partner has a lot of them and I don't think I should need that many.
Thing 3: The other team didn't double. Got 11.4 IMPs for this.

Wests double is a rare penalty double.
This explains Norths 4♦
The explanations of 17 pts I think is an error and actually could even be 0 pts
West has a big hand so you should really have good hand and some ♦ to bid game. True if N had 17 points you don't but I think description is wrong.
North has more than promised and good ♦, why doesn't it penalty X 5♦?
