Goodness if Gib actually had 15 pts and 5 good ♦ and really 5 for the 4 level?!
You will have no play for 3N.
Of course Gib won't lead ♦ so would probably make anyways lol.

We all hear that GIB decides what to do relying on simulations, right? This type of hands tells us it is either untrue or the guy who programmed GIB on how to make simulations was smoking something serious!
Which simulation would suggest GIB to bid 4♦ with this hand in this auction?
More to the injury, if you look at what GIB would think for your 4 level or 5 level overcalls, it says something like 28+ hcp!! So you can't even save white vs red against their 4M with a 7-8 card suiter and a decent hand, because GIB will land you in grandslam, period! But it makes this over call with this trash!
Huh? You can take my ♦K and ♣J and give it to GIB W, in return give me the ♠J of GIB E and i still would be cold for 3 NT on any lead!

Perhaps it is under the wrong impression that it can't ever get doubled for penalty. In the very early days it did this sort of thing more often than it does now on assumption that robo opps can't find the red card.
