I love bbo. BBO can see how much I pay to bbo every month (skiborder).

I just want to register a complaint about the free limit to 3 on the daylong tournaments. I think it is a bit cheesy. I was looking forward to it because of the number of people in competition. The fee daylongs have way less participation. 90% of what i play on bbo is for a fee and I think this restriction wan't nice and certainly didn't show any appreciation for those who pay a minimum of $100 month playing. The four extra days they could get is $1... I mean really? And you can't even pay to play the extra times, but if u could it would just bring the amount of people playing down. It is the only feature on bbo that gets that number of people playing.

imho

The free daylong had very high participation with no limit.
I suspect with that many peopleplaying there were real costs.
You should be happy you can do 3 times a week free.
Along with he other freethings.
You can play just play bridge for free all day long if you want.
Sarcasm is a state of mind

As a customer appreciation feature, BBO could give more free plays to "paying" customers. Maybe for players renting advanced robots, or paying at least some set amount in the pay for play games (maybe in the last week, or maybe for that particular day).

This doesn't apply to the OP who already help pay for BBO to operate, but I'm not sympathetic to those who complain about the 3 per week limit on free tournaments if they aren't supporting BBO by paying for other services. There are already plenty of free ways to play bridge on BBO.
