If playing limited openings, the 2NT jump rebid isn't needed for strong hands, so how do you play it? For instance 1H-1S; 2NT or 1M-1NT; 2NT.

One idea is to bid 2NT with 6-4 shape and some extras. In our system though we rebid 2C with 6+M (including 6-4). Another idea is to play it as max with support for responder, but that leaves 1X-1NT; 2NT.

We play the following:

1X-1M; 2NT = Max with support.
1H-1NT; 2NT = Max with 5H and 4S.
1S-1NT; 2NT = Solid spade suit.

Fairly normal for Precision players to use 1Red-1Major-2NT* as

6+ Red suit, 3 card support for your major and maximum values.

Yes, that would be the normal use for 2N.
If playing Mexican 2-18-19 balanced or have somehow otherwise covered these hands you can use for 1 or 1, 1M-2N even playing standard.

Yes, the hand of death :) That's a good idea if you haven't got another way to bid those hands. We treat them the following way (our 1D is natural an unbalanced, 11-19 hcp):

1D-1M; 1NT = F1. Min with 6+D or various strong hands, including 3-card support and 15-17 hcp.
1D-1M; 2M-1 = F1. 3-card support and 11-14 or 18-19.
1H-1S; 2D = F1. 3-card support.

1D-1M-2M is 11-14 and 3 trumps forcing? I can see forcing when 18-19

Do you use magic or Iphone to bid after that with 11?

We use 2nt to show a 5-6 hand:

1S-1N-2N: 5 spades 6m
1H-1S-2N: 5 hearts 6m
1H-1N-2S: 5 hearts 6m
1H-1N-2N: 5 spades 6 hearts

All these show a decent hand (with like 8-10 hcp we just rebid 2m).

Well if you're going to post it four times...

Over 2NT showing an unknown minor:

3 = pass or correct
3 = asks minor (hearts = clubs, spades = diamonds)
3-opener's major = natural forcing, but note this only really exists after 1-1 because we don't bid 1NT with 3-fit
3-other-major = natural forcing; note in our style weak hands with one long major often respond something else
3NT = to play, kinda weird I guess

Over 2 showing an unknown minor, we pretty much always bid 2NT asking the minor.
Over 2NT showing 5-6 majors, 3m is natural forcing, 3M is natural NF, 3NT natural NF, 4m slam try in a major

As already suggested, I use the equivalent sequence in my system as a 3 card raise to 3M. As Responder in that structure cannot respond with a natural 1NT, there is no direct equivalent to your 1 - 1NT; 2NT sequence unless you play that as promising clubs, in which case you can similarly play it as ~16-17hcp and 3 clubs without a more suitable rebid (2263, (31)63, etc depending on the rest of the structure).
(-: Zel :-)

Happy New Year everyone!

No, 1D-1M; 2M is minimum with 4 card support. I wrote 1D-1M; 2M-1, so the bid below 2M. In other words 1D-1H; 2D and 1D-1S; 2H. Here's an article about how we play after our unbalanced diamond: http://bridgewinners...lanced-diamond/

Poor eyesight sometimes leads to silly questions. Sorry.

The structure is much better when I read the extended outline.

It looks promising.

I like the idea that the Power System used that 1C*-1M-2D*

showed a 3 card raise and 1C*-1M-2M raise showed 4 trumps
