The compact bidding description, like: mb|-1Dp1Sp2Hp3Hppp| in .lin file is accepted by BBO Windows client, and other programs (DDS).
But it seems for me, the web accept the verbose version: md|1D|md|p|md|2H|mb|p|mb|3H|mb|p|mb|p|mb|p| only for upload.
Is it a temporaly restriction, or the compact form is deprecated?

One of the problems with LIN format is that there's no written documentation of the format, it's just in people's memory and various applications that use and generate it. This is the first I've ever seen of the compact format, and I don't think any of the code we've written in the past few years recognizes it.
