As far as I know the only way to upload an FD to BBO convention card is through the windows interface.
Is there going to be a provision in the future to allow uploading of FD convention cards using the browser?

Concentrating efforts on the Web client should accelerate FD improvement and adoption.

BBO's FD (full-disclosure) is the basis of a brilliant idea that should transform the future if Bridge. If the WBF sanctioned it for electronic encounters, it would entail law-changes -- otherwise it would be deemed an aid to memory -- but it mitigates or eliminates so many disclosure problems, that it would be a net improvement (pun unintended).

Kungsgeten created an enhancement

BML (Bridge Markup Language)

which allows you to define systems in a more intuitive and natural way. Kungsgeten provides tools including a translator from BLML to FD. It would be great were there a translator in both directions.

Even better would be if BBO (and eventually the WBF) adopted BML (or a variation thereof) as the official native language for disclosure in high-level events.

Insofar as the windows client has consumed ZERO development resources for the last 8 years, its final retirement will release ZERO resources to concentrate further on web client development, whether that take the form of FD improvement or otherwise.

I can't make any commitment on when it might become available, but compared to all the other differences between the windows and web clients, adding the ability to upload FD cards should be relatively easy.
