"Genius has its own limitations, however stupidity has no such boundaries!"
"It's only when a mosquito lands on your testicles that you realize there is always a way to solve problems without using violence!"
"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."

I think I know the problem here. The auction in the OP does not exist in the game of bridge. You bid a NF 2D, partner bids a NF 2NT, and you jump to slam? GIB tends to short-circuit in these situations and just passes. Of course some fail-safe ought to be programmed in so that GIB's default action when confused is to take preference rather than pass.

There are some auctions where if you jump to an impossible (meaning undefined) very high bid in a second suit, GIB doesn't "remember" the first suit.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
