Played my first match vs Mr. Nigel. Unfortunately it got thrown out due to an irregularity. Will reinvite later.
With Phil, Justice was done, after a fashion :). Phil comfortably won both matches :(

I was even luckier against Nekthen. I lost the discarded match but won the rematch.

Discarded match (Phil won by 31 imps)

Discarded match (Nekthen won by 10 imps).

RR Nige1 = 23 imps Phil = 33 imps. Phil won by 10 imps,

RR Nige1 = 26 imps. Nekthen = 2 imps. Nige1 won by 24 imps.

RR Nige1 = 30 imps. Gqc6 = 16 imps. Nige1 won by 14 imps.

RR Nige1 = 35 imps. Frank0 = 30 imps. Nige1 won by 5 imps.

RR Nige1 = 6 imps. Ovncylmz = 22 imps. Ovncylmz won by 16 imps.

What's a discarded match?

Sometimes table closes due to connectivity problems, but that doesn't break the challenge. You can simply rejoin and finish up.

I think my match with nige1 is incorrectly issued with best-hand

Nige1-gqc6, unfortunately you need to rematch..
Nige1 - I messaged you like 3 times in bbo, why do you keep sending best hand?

Since I am involved in Group 5, I don't really want to say too much.

However, it is not good to send three matches in a wrong format and let people play although being warned multiple times via bbo messages (and a penalty is required imo, however both frank0 and I are in this group and we don't have any written rules, so we cannot really).

Well, it's also incumbent for anyone accepting a challenge to understand the COC and check what the invitation contains.

Haha, I agree - but sometimes you just play the challenge and do not notice. I would expect him (since I wrote him) to warn the opponents via private message before they start playing or cancel the challenge. I did not want to make an announcement here and confuse people, because clearly I was not sure if you were the only one who got the best-hand or not. To be honest, I also didn't like the post including discarded games, because it is very clear that gqc6 game is also best-hand but somehow he ignores(?) it.

I didn't see or didn't understand ovncylmz's messages. I apologise for my mistakes and I'm willing to accept a penalty. Meanwhile, I've played gqc6's re-challenge

Don't worry about it, then. Good luck.

In our replay, Gqc6 played well to reverse the discarded result.

RR Nige1 = 14 imps. Gqc6 = 17 imps. Gqc6 won by 3 imps.

gcq6 won the lead and sensibly ducked a .:)
I crossed to A to finesse J.. The 4-0 split meant my stupid greed cost the contract :(.
