Advanced+, Expert, and World Class players: Would you be interested in committing to the next couple of Sundays (noon eastern time) with a few others to play online team matches against David Grab's team? Pam (onoway) is in need of a quality team for these folks to compete against in the context of an IAC tournament she has arranged. Please contact her with your interest.

IAC is hosting a team match series, but we do not put teams together, it is up to the players to do that. Especially because it is a series, we can't be responsible to match up compatible people etc. To give some context:

Registrations close for teams on November 14. The matches will start on Sunday November 20 at noon Eastern ( NY ) time and run each Sunday. There will be no matches played on Dec 18, Dec 25, or January 1 so the series may be continued in January if necessary to complete the round robin. NOTE: All teams will play each week. If we end up with unbalanced numbers, the "bye" teams will play an exhibition match. This is so captains and players don't need to worry if they are to play or not, they are to play every Sunday.

At the moment we have 10 teams so we will be dividing the teams into two sections. The hope was to get two more teams so we won't be setting up a "bye" situation for both of the sections.

If a team comes forward with nonIAC members then we can probably fasttrack membership so they will be able to play.

This is an interesting proposal, I'll ask my teammates whether they're interested in playing along. I'll let you know as soon as possible.
