This is the last thread I'll post about Gib's defense - nothing much more to be said if this never gets fixed.

Skip forward to trick 11, from East's perspective.

All South and West have are 6 diamonds between them. There are 20 possible ways these could be arranged.

In 18 of these, returning a heart results in *less* tricks than returning a diamond.
In 2 of these, returning a heart results in the same number of tricks as returning a diamond.

Gib returns a heart. This means it only simulated two of the twenty possibilities.

Even basic robots should do better than that. This needs to be fixed.

It might have simulated 4. But I agree it seems unlikely
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

A single positive result for a diamond would result in the overall average for a diamond being more than a heart, so it couldn't be more than two.

Just making sure, but you are aware that the south hand is dummy yes? Also as far as I know, the gibs don't make any inferences from their own carding so it is quite possible West has K and QJ left as far as East is concerned even though it has been denied by West playing 6 then 3.

Ugh, you're right. I had forgotten things were flipped - always find it so confusing with human declares and dummy at the bottom.

OK, ignore this thread for now.
