GIB bug

See the opening lead. This happens very often and was introduced with one of the latest versions. I play with robots from long time and it didnt happen before.

I think he means East's duck of the opening lead. A very common occurrence in Gib (recently Gib East ducked taking a king when I played low from dummy's Ace on the opening trick, giving me a grand slam when I should have been down 3.)

Yes that's exactly what I mean.
We should expect that each new version will bring better GIB,
but I'm afraid that it's getting worse and worse, instead.
Not worth the money we pay.

It's hard to figure out what GIB is doing. It looks like playing high in both cases can never lose, while not playing high can lose quite often, as seen in the hands above.

Here's the one I was referring to (was a small slam, not a grand). (Ignore the fact that I should have played the Ace on the first trick to begin with. And the bidding.).
