Rotated for convenience - IMPs

You're not playing 2/1, but South forces to game with 2S on the second round. West leads the HA.

1) HA, 3, 6, 9
2) HK, 4, J, Q
3) D2, K, A, 3
4) C2

Opps are average players, so I wouldn't read too much into their signalling. It's likely the H6 is rev attitude and the HJ is suit pref for diamonds (hence the diamond switch). Which club do you play at trick 4? What's your plan?

i would just take regular finesse but it depends how bad ur opps are, i mean some players will NEVER underlead a king
"definitely that's what I like to play when I'm playing standard - I want to be able to bid diamonds because bidding good suits is important in bridge" - Meckstroth's opinion on weak 2 diamond

If you take the regular finesse, what next? Are you planning to try for 7 trump tricks, through a cross-ruff? Or ruff the clubs (diamonds) good?

The ruffing finesse seems right to me. There are many 10 counts where West won't overcall after both opponents have bid.

Yes this may well work best.

4) Win ace of clubs
5) Ruff a club low
6) Diamond Queen
7) Ruff a heart low
8) Ruff a club low
9) Ruff a diamond
10) - 13) Cross Ruff

It seems to need clubs to be 4-3 and diamonds to be 3-3 (or if east has only two diamonds, east also only holds two spades).
