How can pass be forcing? East showed 23+total points, West 12-. South showed 25+total points, North 7-12.
Clearly, NS have EW outgunned on this auction. :blink: :ph34r: :unsure:

It often appears that GIB trusts its partner's bidding, and also completely trusts the opponents bidding. But it cannot reason that if both were true, there would be 60 points in the deck.

An example, I made a very sound 3H overcall of a 2S opener on my right. My LHO doubled for penalty, two down. Those who overbid with 4H with my hand escaped the double! Down three but a much better score. This happens quite often.
