There are three same hands in total in the 16 hand records.

Auction seems normal through 3H. Why GIB E bid 3S is anyone's guess. The 3H bid is described as natural (4+)

3 of course is beyond all reason -- clearly a bug.

But even 3 vuln seems like a highly dangerous shot in the dark here,
not knowing anything abt E's lucky -fit on this particular deal...

Where on earth to play if E instead has doubleton ?

Obvious risk of a serious misfit for both sides, and Diamonds behind South,
seems over-all odds are in favor of defending against 3C.

In fact, this hand is pretty complex, there are three serious issues in total.

The "OP" is first issue.
The second issue is about "Forcing Double".
The third is about " TPs Issue" , its hand is

I don't understand why North didn't open the bidding with 1 which leads to a totally different auction.

I would take issue with South's 2 overcall, but it is not a GIB problem.

Being a passed hand, I would chip in with 2D on that. Not otherwise.
