Sorry for upside down diagram. South is dummy, you're West.

Partner leads 8, dummy plays the 2, you win the Ace and declarer follows with the Queen. What next?

If you cash the A, declarer plays the 2; what do you do when partner plays (standard attitude):

a) the C5
b) the C7
c) the CJ

I'm laying A on the table at trick 2 and trying to decipher partner's card. The Q could be a stiff in which case it may be imperative to get our tricks in before Declarer gets a pitch on the . If partner discourages, I'll return 3 at trick 3.
