MP, Instant, 35

South's explanations are truncated, but a relevant point is that 4H showed, apparently, 21+ TP.

I bid 3D in case partner had unequal length in the majors. It seemed a safe enough call, being well within the described explanation.

I don't know what North was playing at. Even if I did have 21 TP ...
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

I find it rather concerning you can't seem to play it in hearts. 4H is explained as a cuebid, similarly with the 5H bid.

That Michaels call is a little sickening :/ Two jack-high suits, not even J10? Ugh. And then to take a free bid of 3H as well rather than pass...

I wonder what "Pass" would have shown at North's second turn to call.
