Good question. Makes no sense to me, should bid 4S IMO. As for your bidding, seems normal and straightforward.

Good topic.
I am very very difficult to believe this is a real story since Gibs never be good at cuebid, so cuebid with small doubleton is a rare thing happened in the past.
You can't offer detailed hand, I also failed to find it.
Here is one similar hand edited by me.



So I have to prove that what eagles123 reported is a real story.

Hoping that everyone can offer the detailed evidence of the hand as possible.
Obviously, this hand occurred in Gib version 35, it is impossible to occur on the version 34.
